The Nurburgring has no formal relation to European Delivery. They are completely separate.

The only thing included in the ED is 2 weeks of the license plates, registration and insurance.

Otherwise, once you pick up your car, you're on your own.

Nice pics and beautiful car. I know how long you have been waiting with the switch from the 550 to the M5 so I am sure you are thrilled to finally be in an F10! Congrats.

thanks! Yeah, now the WORST part is waiting for REDELIVERY!! Driving it in Europe was a brutal tease! But I wouldn't have it any other way honestly.

Fun trip and I really liked the 1200 foot suite you had. The trip looks like it might have cost any savings you had on ED and then some! I guess that is the point, right?

Lol... Yeah, the savings on the car paid for maybe 40% of the trip. But we didn't do it for the savings. It was NICE... But we would have done it this way regardless. My wife and I work crazy hours filled with stress... When we play... We really play!

I did the ED exactly three years ago today with my 550i. Similar story here -- it wasn't about the savings, it was for the experience. On the delivery day, you're a rock star, and then being able to drive the car the way it was intended ... amazing.

And I had the same luck as the OP at the 'Ring -- IT POURED all day and cleared just as I got there.

Lol. Powerlifting in my 20's. Now at 36 I'm shrinking! Lol. But it helps to be a bit less 'swollen' when practicing Muay Thai and boxing.

Yeah... The bummer is I dropped off in Frankfurt on 7/10.... It JUST shipped out yesterday. It's slated to arrive in Newark on 8/13.
