Angry Took car for routine service at dealer today

My car came due for a "standard scope" and for the coolant line recall. I took it in today.

Unfortunately for me the service guy was knowledgeable and ushered me right away out of the cold to the waiting area. He knew all about the recall and got the car serviced very quickly. I chose to wait since I don't like to leave my car at the dealer all day. And I asked them not to wash my car.

They were pretty fast on the oil change and recall. The guy was very professional and helpful.

I looked my car over for door dings and to see if they had pulled my low bumper over a curb. The car was fine on those issues and the interior was spotless and they had honored my request not to wash my car. I waited a few hours after I got home and there was no oil dripping onto my garage floor under my car.

Do I have any recourse against my dealer? I am used to being abused by Honda and Mercedes and I feel that BMW let me down by flawlessly executing this recent encounter without any problems whatsoever. Any advice on my next steps?

I've never had anything but perfect service from my BMW dealer. Guess I'm spoiled now. They even do have free coffee!

OMFG. I had the exact same experience recently. Not only did my SA meet my demands, he went above and beyond by giving me the exact loaner I had requested (with a full tank of gas!), ugh! The gall of that guy.

I would definitely be interested in taking your case. I can have the complaint prepared and filed with the court on Tuesday and we can serve those idiots on wednesday. I can believe they did that !

I don't have any problems since the SA is my cousin ( M5 owner )
but happened with my friend when he took his M5 to the dealer last time , the car mileage was 25.000 KM and MR SA (not my cousin) asked him to change brake pads and rotors , after checking the rotors and pads everything looked fine , and when he had enough with us he said ok and the radiator is leaking we asked for checking the car again he said it's not allowed to enter the garage , my friend asked them to take the car , took the M5 to a local bmw garage to double check and everything was fine even the the guy didn't charge my friend anything , after he got home here's the surprise , a long scratch on the front bumper
