M5 trouble!

Hi everyone I'm having some trouble with my 2013 m5. The current mods are resonator delete, catless dps and turner muffler delete. At around 3-4,500k rpms the car starts breaking up and when I down shift it has a 7 second lag then breaks up again please help thanks dylan.

Any other mods ? Tune ?
Have you checked the vacuum lines for the exhaust ? Make sure they are plugged.

Do you have a JB4? I have the exact same set up and mine will act funny sometimes.

100% check those 2 lines that used to connect to the OEM exhaust! A lot of shops will install and not plug those lines which can result in your car running weird.

Next to each muffler can. They are actually rubber tubes.

My friend Alex disconnected mine last week and then started egging me on to race his 550...

It's incredible how slow the car is with one of those lines disconnected.

Hard to tell anything from that video.

You probably need a tune now. Catless downpipes and no tune? Car is probably confused

RPMs jumping like that is an electrical issue. Check the RPM pickup signal (near the coil - frontmost cylinder driver side) and all your plugs and coils.

Also check your DME connections are tight.

All that does is throw a CEL - it's not going to get confused.

Could it be a ground somewhere ?
Doesn't the exhaust have a ground ?

Downshifting to 1st at 40 mph probably isn't helping.

Hey guys thanks for all the help but it's still doing the same thing. A friend of mine told me it's because I put a different tire size is that possible?

Currently I have 295/40/20 (rear)

This may be costly and time consuming, but return the car to stock. See if the problem still procists, if it does st least you can eliminate the mods causing the issue. If the problem goes away, then add your mods one by one, until you figure out which one causes the issues.
That's what I would do, not the most efficient way but worth a try. Also if the car is stock and issue persists you can take it to the dealer if you still have warenty
