Long Hauling
Taking a new job in which I may place 24k on a car per annum - previous beast gone and thinking of another one?
Advisable with warranty and maintenance constraints? |

If you have access to USAA they have a wonderful extended warranty program underwritten by Assurant. Other than that, consider the BMW Extended Warranty Programs or find a beater car with good mpg for commuting.
I am of the mind that M Cars are built to be driven and I will do 25k/year easily. I am in love with my 13' M5 and most of my mileage is Highway. Protect yourself appropriately and DRIVE |

Financial considerations
The car itself is perfectly capable of doing the mileage and its comfortable enough for regular long trips. It really just comes down to the finance question. Its not particularly economical, so fuel bills will be comparatively high, as will depreciation and service costs. If this isn't a burden financially, not reason not to go for it.
