+1000 love the R8 and actually thinking of replacing my 911 with it and adding the M5 this winter.

The more I think about it, the perfect 2nd car to the M5 would be the one that is its exact opposite--primitive, visceral, no technological bells and whistles and face shearing performance resulting from lightweight and a monster engine.
That sounds like one of the high-end 427 Cobra replicas to me. http://www.superformance.com/mkIII.aspx |

2013 Shelby GT500 - If you want something absolutely bonkers
2013 GT-R - If you want something extremely fast, and epic at the track (I own one) Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S - If you want something that'll put a smile on your face Ferrari/Mclaren/Lambo/R8 - If you like the attention (I'd recommend the 458) I've driven all the cars I've listed. |

Actually I'm using the M5 on the weekends and evenings ... I use an Alfa Romeo 159Ti as my daily driver... drives like a charm.. and has no technology in comparison to the BMW.
My M5 will see the track and very soon... I need to go get my M Driver's Package Training... I don't need a Weekend Toy... I have already |

I personally don't think a 458 will be in any ways "slower" than a F10 M5; however, if money isn't a factor, Pagani is entering NA market officially, isn't it?

i bought an LP560-4 Spyder last week as im still waiting for my replacement M5, and it's an absolute blast, more fun than my M5 for sure.
But now I've got it I think the M5 will be a good Daily Driver to complement it... |

Second car choice for me would be a muscle car.
While not really a muscle car, my 1969 L71 Corvette is brutal. Not fast by today's standards, but more fun than the M5 in short bursts for sure. Manual steering and factory side pipes are not so fun after a few hours driving. LOL. |

Ever consider a MINI GP? Here is a video of the R53 generation. The new R56 GP is supposed to be night and day better.
