I'm looking to go with the either 265/305 or 275/305 f/r setup on stock 2013 20" M5 wheels. From this thread I understand the manufacturer's recommendations and I agree with all the member postings. That said, I want more traction and handling than the stock 265/295 setup.

So, if I have understood correctly, all the guys running 305s on the rear report better traction AND handling. Question is, 265 vs 275 fronts. What to run? Thanks.

I'll be putting 275s on when these fronts are done.

How do the 305s look? Would you post pics of the 305s on your stock wheels?

Heres A video of Pirellis on the Back. 295/30/20
I Ended up switching after the weekend
from 305 to 295 due to it was rubbing a little bit since the tire is rounder than my original Vredestein 305's Vorti-R
the 295/30/20 made it flush

Note: If you are lowered and running Pirelli's I don't think 305 will be doable on ACS springs
no to Pirelli 305/30/20
Yes to Vredestein Vorti-R 305/30/20 as they have flatter Sidewall
TBD on PSS 305's haven't tried that yet.

if you are not Lowered you can run 305/20/20 on Pirelli
give you a better Idea,

You could try the Nittos 305s NT 05,you just need a good burn out with DSC off and you should have a perfect pull of the line, I had a 22 total take off with DSC off with minimal wheelspin if any,my race with the Lamborghini Aventador I pull off the line the same time with him and that's a all well drive car.

Had a bit of a frightening roll today.. Felt like my front end just slipped out from under me at high speed. Got tires checked. Fronts and Rears at 4/32.. Time to change again. As I am 11,500 miles now the rear tires lasted around 5,500 miles.. I've had some much fun with this set up.

Question: WHO IS RUNNING 275s on the front and is the offset fine with 305s in the rear on M5 343M wheels for M5?

I want to get that extra grip

I opted for some sport cup 2's 305...for street use..they come in next week hopefully they turn out good traction wise I'm just going to get another set of wheels and put some MT's for trips to the drag strip.

That's the Pirelli P Zero right? Seems like the Michelin PSS lasts much longer on other M5's.

I doubt it. I run over 625 lb-ft torque with my remap.
Who is running 275s up front please?

not pretty but $505 per tire I got the k1 ones , stupid but $50 more than the N0 ones when I believe there the same exact tire..I had no other option since that's all that's available not even any pss.

still have stock 265's but I'll definitely bring them up to 275's based on everyone's recommendations..they'll have to be the pss though since not available in that size for the super cups

Dude I got 25k from oem set. 2nd set about 20 from 2nd but had track day. I'm on 3rd set and I have 71k so far on the car. But I don't do burnouts but I do slide my car round some curves and spin while racing.
