steering vibration at high speed

So i was cruising down to get some miles for my breakin service.
at speed 130-150kmh i notice the steering wheel is vibrating up and down, (comfort mode)

at the beginning i thought it was the bumpy highway, but not after seconds i realize it did it constantly... at that moment, and on the way back i tried to accelerate again i did not feel vibration as constant and as noticeable as what happened before.

Check your wheel balancing weights. You may have lost one. This happened to me about a month ago.

Yeah check your wheel weights.

Also while less likely, make sure it's not the road. Test on a different stretch of road.

My '08 528xi (on 18" Michelin PSS) and '12 X5 35i (19") are smooth as butter at 90mph. I have a strange and very noticeable "vibration" at the wheel of the M5. 1000mi on it so far, just had breakin completed and can't tell if its just because of the 20" low profile tires, the suspension, or something else. I've noticed it at speed on several different stretches of highway. I would assume for a high speed, high performance vehicle it would be smooth at speed? Also recently had a 750Li loaner (with m sport package and adjustable suspension) and it too was smoother at speed. Anybody else?

Steering wheels don't vibrate up and down, only left and right. You either lost a weight or bent a rim likely.

Probably, there is a bulge on your front tires. Same thing happened on my 6er three weeks ago. Just drive it into dealer and request to change a new tire if you have tire&rim warranty.
