Voice commands? Useless? Useful? Thoughts
I had Acura TL 2009 before in my house and was using voice commands all the time because you could even increase and decrease temp of AC and simply say Shut Down AC or something like that...
It used to blow my mind away... M5 voice commands are a total let down? So wanted to hear your thoughts on this topic.. And if I am wrong please tell me what are your best verbal commands that really work flawlessly... I still miss TL ELS sound system which almost sounded as good as B&O !! For free !! And that was 2009!! I got probably the first TL SH AWD in NC with 19 inch wheels back them but was too slow so didn't even last a year and traded for E550 MB Coupe 2010 - Acura TL SHAWD used to be a looker mkre than any thing else I drove except E550 coupe which did appeal to older people who appreciated the tri star badge on red coupe ! But was a Polarizing model too

Hahahaha haha
Doesn't change a thing Because it is better than MB and Audi doesn't mean it is good I am afraid... because I owned all these brands pretty newer models that had useless voice commands!! Japanese rock when it comes to this I guess -

I use it for radio commands all the time. I just say "Sat channel" followed by the number (you do have to know the numbers and have Sirius) - it works flawlessly. I find it much easier than using I Drive. It works well for all the audio stuff and nav too. I keep telling myself to go through the manual to learn more commands because it really can be very effective.

Dialing numbers, looking up contacts, and map directions are the main ones I've used so far. I've used the command "go home" several times when trying to get home from new locations or just looking for the fastest route with traffic. You should really give it a try sometime. Helps keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes forward.

I use if all the time to enter addresses in nav. I'd say that it's pretty accurate 90% of the time.
My Audi worked well also but you had speak each line separately.
