I would agree that the dials and controls are better. The wood trim is better too. The leather seems worse to me (seems fake because of the synthetic printed grain on the Dakota leather). What I dislike the most though about the E92 is the large amounts of plastic, the generally boxy look of the interior, and the panel gaps.

Heres how it goes. I think The M4 will be a beautiful car, but I don't think it will be a better concept then the F10 M5, as of now. It will be smaller/Lighter, which is a plus. The interior certainly won't be better. You'll have people say well it's an M, who cares about the interior? Well I certainly do, I spend a lot of time in my M5 and big part of the reason why I love it, is because it's like dam space ship. The M5 will be wider and much more aggressive according to the specs. The exhaust will be horrible compared to the F10 M5. The powerplant will be no better. If you told me you'd take a e92 M3, over an e60 M5 I think you'd have to be kidding yourself. I think it will be the same way. I just wish we got the special Hood like the M4 will have.

The M4 will be a great all around sports car, BUT the interior of the new 3/4 series is tragic! I can't see myself going from the luxuries of an M5 to the M3/M4 despite the nimbleness and weight savings of the later. I'd only consider adding the M4 to the stable. Ahh....1st world problems!

I am planning on getting an LCI F80 M3 ED in 2016. That will be about 3 years with my M5. Just perfect IMO. I have no need to "upgrade" with every car. I think the M3 saloon is the perfect sized car.
If I didn't have kids I would look at 2 seat car options... But I need a practical fun car. Not into garage queens.

No kidding! I had a friend of mine once tell me that my M5 felt like a space ship to him because of my Black Full Leather and Piano Black Trim and dark 15% tinted windows. It really does feel like a space ship at times to me too. I kind of consider my M5 to be the Tie Fighter that Darth Vader flew in Star Wars.

Where does everybody think an F82 M4 would fall out in this race?
Would it: A. Lose to the E60 M5 B. Beat the E60 M5 and lose to the Vette Z06 C. Beat both the E60 M5 and the Z06, and lose to the F10 M5 D. Beat all three of them, the F82 M4 is the Ultimate Driving Machine E. None of the above because the F82 M4 would hit 88mph and time warp to a different decade F. Who cares, the F82 M4 is in a different segment G. Beat all three of them based on looks alone H. Lose to all of them based on exhaust note alone I. Automatically win because Boy-Racers and BMW fanboys say it's the best BMW anyways GO!

Are you talking drag race from zero, roll from 60 or lap time?
Edit: Just saw video. I would put it ahead of E60 and probably near z06 if not a bit faster. Should be behind F10.
