Congrats on the Pure Metal..are there any special washing/paint maintenance requirements?

Insane look...Kudos.

Anyone drive one of these and a regular cp car? I'm sure the power difference would be felt in the midrange

it is a little different
my last m5 was a 2014 with zcp and stage one dinan
that car was insane...yet fun
but for a dd with a seven year old kid
not sure i needed it
just the kid in me

the m performance exhaust sounds better than the standard comp exhaust

i'm genuinely curious as to why you think there would be any special techniques for taking care of this paint?

it's regular paint. Frozen paint requires different maintenance.

Get the Bavsound speaker upgrade for less than half the B&O cost - you won't miss B&O. It's a significant improvement.

well pulled the trigger today
got a pure metal silver m5
for silver lovers....
i have wanted the color since it was released, but didn't want to pay 10k for it

there are a bunch in los angeles
one each at pacific, steve thomas, alexander, beverly hills, bob smith, irvine, valencia, and rusnak

to name a few
you have to be a silver lover to like it
i love it

of note all "limited editions" say 1 of 50
the genius said this is so dealers don't mark up the price
and there are bad luck numbers

i sure miss the B&0 sound
the h/k system is okay
but not b&o

i miss the hp from my dinan upgrade

the exhaust sounds much better than the stock ZCP exhaust

although i ultimately purchase in los angeles

david a from steve thomas was awesome
if it were not so far away would use him
his price was awesome too

love it!!

more pics soon
figures it is raining in los angeles
color awesome in the sun[/QUOTE]

Congrats! a future collectable for sure i have driven a new G11 with this paint. If you haven't seen it in real life then i don't you will understand why someone who has seen it thinks its a big deal.

Here's BMW video of the paint process

Beautiful car very unique silver. However I can only imagine the nightmare if you ever had to get a panel repainted!!
Better park away from everything

I did on my F10 and have on several subsequent BMW's. DIY. Well worth the cost. Rivals the B&O upgrade.

Since you have had the car a few months now I'm curious if you have done any of the coatings or a wrap? And if not is part of the reason the treatment might detract from the finish?

Thanks if you can comment.
