Tire Pressure for Best Launch at Track
Heading out to the the 1/4 mile near Houston for my first run in the M5 - and my first run down the quarter in about 10 years.
Currently have PZero 305/30/20's on 343's on the back and was wondering if anyone has experience with what the best pressure is for decent traction / 60' times - just keep them at design or drop them by a few pounds? Definitely don't want to sacrifice anything on the top end either. Suggestions appreciated. So far I'm thinking this based off of another thread I read: Sport Plus (throttle) Comfort (ride) Sport/Sport Plus (steering) Transmission in D3 with DSC off (I usually keep DSC off normally anyway). Haven't attempted LC so I'll just feather it out of the hole and see how it reacts.

I'd suggest on stock tires keep the prssure around 30-32 (hot).
I run my drag radials around 22 (hot). With DSC off you will need to feather it. You will probably find better times in MDM mode with stock tires. LC is a waste of time.

Thanks! I'll start out in MDM with 32 psi and work down (if needed) from there. Appreciate the reply.
