M5 intake

Hey all,

Looking to change the intake on the beast. Something that would pair well with my Akra exhaust and improve performance. It seems most are happy with their MSR setup. Only concern I have is it seems the cones are visible through the front grills when looking at the car from the front with hood closed. Is it easily visible or does it just seem that way from the pictures.

Could anyone comment that has one?
Or suggest another setup that is more discreet?

Thanks!
John

Love my MSR. I have blue and red filters cause I want them to stand out, but if you get them painted black think they will blend in well if you also have black grills. Or if you keep the provided socks on it is dark in color so it blends in well with the grills.

Where did you purchase yours? Who usually has these in stock?

If you go wrinkle black pipes and filters it won't stand out as much. Mine are powder coated blue to match my calipers.

I have got MSR Intake wrinkle black with black filter cover and its blends right in with the black grill.
