In retrospect, the stands would have been prudent. They have been part of my track setup since that incident.

Also, besides the racing fluid, stainless steel brake lines made a huge difference in feel at my last Mosport event. Nice progressive feel when you're bringing her down from 150 mph.

Had to fix the linkage on my 6MT. Apparently, the pins weren't inserted fully after the short shifter install. No fall. Had to do what I had to do!

Ah I see. That's hard core man. You sir are a true enthusiast.

Once when I was little, my family and I were on a road trip in the middle of nowhere almost and the car we had, the transmission broke or something and my Dad being the mechanic he was (from his job and training in the Air Force at that time), did a full transmission swap in the parking lot of a Waffle House by himself. Guess you guys know where I get my enthusiasm from.

The lines make a HUGE difference. Interestingly, I didn't get much fade, and I was driving HARD! The fluid made the difference. Hope to see you at the next event.

The fluid is definitely an issue. I have to bleed, I might do it this weekend. I have 3 bottles of RBF600 waiting to be used.

I think you're just trying to find a reason to fondle your car this weekend, Jay!

One other thing to bring that just came to mind - wheels chocks. They will allow you to shut the car off in neutral after each session so the pads don't fuse to the rotors.
