2013 Headlight Question

I just wanted to check with other 2013 owners regarding the headlights.

The white strip at the top doesn't seem to do anything on mine. Is it just there for decoration? Doesn't seem to flash or be backlit in any way.

Nevermind. Answered my own question. The top part glows.

Mine don't glow if I recall correctly.
