Do Spoilers for the M5 Work?

Do any of you know if the various spoilers for the F10 M5 actually provide any benefit beyond asthetics? If so, which would you recommend?

I would say the actual benefit is minimal. I think Vorsteiner is one of the largest and I know that none of these aftermarket companies test their products in a wind tunnel. Unfortunately if you want any kind of real downforce, your gonna have to go with something like of the CTS-V or the M4 GTS. Would be better if the M5 had active aero like on the Audi RS7 to provide real downforce without compromising looks.

It depends on the application - in a straight line they will slow you down - but on the twisty stuff, they will keep you on the road

admittedly this is a nicely prepared E36 for Pikes Peak, by IDBracing
