That REALLY sucks. Good luck, hope you get your cable back soon! FWIW, it was a good grand prix but not a classic. And the result was a tad melodramatic.

Good race, not as epic as Canadian GP....the DRS kinda ruined the race like Turkish GP...making overtake too easy.

I remember mansell back in the early 90's. He also did some touring car racing also for Ford.

3 years ago he runs into the back of Kimi Raikonnen in the pit exit area because he didn't see the red light.

Last year at Monza he goes too wide on the last corner and fly's off the track with 3 laps left.

Spa Qualifying he gets into it with another driver of no consequence.

And I'm a Hamilton fan. Well.......seasons pretty much over now we all know Vettle is well on the way to his 2nd world championship.

I stand corrected. But you see the spirit of what I'm saying.

Time for some championship math

1) Sebastian Vettel 259
2) Mark Webber 167
3) Fernando Alonso 157
4) Jenson Button 149
5) Lewis Hamilton 146

That's a 92 point gap between Webber and Vettel. Even if Webber wins all of the last seven races, Vettel would only need to get 4th in every race to remain the leader (final total Vettel: 343, Webber: 342). And if Button wins all of the final races Vettel only needs to get 5th places (final total Vettel: 329, Button: 324).

Vettel can now afford to score no points for three of the seven remaining races and still have (at least) a 17 point gap.

in other words..................it's over. This is starting to look like the Schumacher championship years of 2000-2005 which were very BORING btw. Ferrari was so much faster than everyone else with the exception of McLaren team.

I don't think so. I think RBR caught a lot of teams snoozing at the beginning of the season and took advantage of it. Now the teams have gotten a LOT more competitive, and DRS has thrown a lot of the old standby-rules out the window. There's been some hella exciting races this year, and it isn't over (the championship may be, but still lots of excitement in the mix to be had).

Championship might be over, but the racing is not.
Racing drivers are not there to cruise around. If there's a chance to win, they will go get it.
Its always good to have more trophies and wins in your biography then be knows as a quitter.

Maybe McLaren and Ferrari can bribe the lower teams to take out Vettel "on accident" as he goes to lap them

I totally gave up on Speed, even on live, I just stream from BBC Player and HDMI to my TV.

I rather have better coverage with no commercials, than HD viagara commercials all the time.

Just back from Spa. I have watched the race on TV for years and was totally enraptured sitting at the bottom of Eau Rouge, watching the cars climb Radillion and scream away, rooster tails et al.

At the conclusion of the race, we walked the entire circuit. Absolutely amazing how the track is either uphill or downhill. I don't think that there is more that a few feet of flat pavement.

The next step is to drive Spa, which you can do for 99 Euros.
