Anyone use Advanti rims on their M5?

Taking re-delivery of my 2015 M5 with competition package in a few weeks and I was looking to get a set of rims with winter tires to use 3 months out of the year. Based on what I've read on the forums I was going to get a set of Blizzak's 255/35R/20". I found a set of 20x9 Advanti rims for $225. I plan to use this set up from mid December - mid March. Live in NY. Any thoughts about quality of the Advanti Rims? Thanks!

Good choice. The advanti wheels will be fine, like driving on any mag wheel just watch the potholes. I am using the latest nokian Hakka 8's studded and have gone through 2 storms of snow and ice, I bought them based on excellent reviews ; and experience with Hakka Rs snows in the past. Blizzaks are very good as well.

Don't know if those wheels are good but my winter solution was to keep my M5 off the road and get an X5M with winter wheel setup!

I couldn't bear the thought of all that salt on my M5.

Love the color one your M5. Which blue is that?

I'm in the same situation regarding 3 mos, although having been born and raised in NY I think you're delusional about 3 mos/yr in LI. I remember the nor'easters in April and that's why I moved west, lol. But, that is the set up I was thinking of getting. Do you have stock brakes or CCB?

Sorry guys I forgot to mention I just bought a truck to drive in the snow and take on the beach in the summers. So far a lot of fun. I Just figured in case I was out and it snowed, rained or was just very cold I wanted to be prepared with the M5. The Advanti rims were so inexpensive I was concerned about quality. Thanks for the opinions. The color is Monte Carlo Blue and CC brakes.

I don't have them, so take this with a grain of salt, hopefully an owner will chime in. I have researched a bunch of different brands for a winter option though and frankly I don't want to spend premium for a forged wheel for 2-3 mos use, although that is probably the best option. Advanti has been around for awhile, affordable, look pretty good and are well reviewed. You can just google Advanti and see reviews from Tirerack, et al. They're flow-formed which I believe is a step up from cast, but pretty close. It might be a marketing term, I don't know. You have a good buy at that price and I don't think you can go wrong. Potholes are the killer and just be aware. I'd like to hear what set up you end up getting.
