M5 KW sleeve !

Today I drove the car with the KW sleeve kit and is night and day compared with the bouncy H&R springs !!!
I love that I still have the possibility of adjust shock hardness with a button.

Any one wants a cheap H&R spring kit ??

How does the sleeve kit compare to stock in terms of ride quality & handling performance ? Interested to know.

All round better than stock. For reference, I had H&Rs, went back to stock, and then did KW sleeve.

That said, if I were to do it all over again, I'd probably go full coil over. Given how good the sleeve is, I'm sure the C/O would be even better.

For me not as good as OEM in terms or ride quality but very acceptable and compared to H&R is night and day !!

I tell clients this all the time but they think I'm trying to up-sell them on the KW kit. KW hands down built the best suspension kits for the F10 M5. KW is one of the last suspension companies to use real world testing (at the Ring also) along with the 7-post rig.

http://www.kwsuspensions.com/kw/info...ic_7_post_rig/

You guys should drive a new Beast with the Clubsports...super smooth and responsive. Feels like you shaved 1000lbs of the M in turns.

You convinced me Nate and this post further confirmed I'm going with either kW has or v3. I think I will go with HAS for the m5 I pick up this spring and maybe v3 if I upgrade to a comp pack m5 down the road

Today I drive my buds car w his v3. I already knew those were really good but have never drive a set. Now, I have hr and I do like them over stock. Yes some people on here say they aren't good. I disagree especially since I really drive my car on my country runs which is w tons of curves. Now my other friend had the dinan susp. His setup is better than hr. When I drive macs car today w the v3 it really soaked up the bumps well. He had his rear setup w approximately 1 finger between the tire/fender. I tell u this never bottom out on me as I was surprised. The way the car behaved sold me but not the price. Ouch! I think a set is in my future. Next time I will get an extended drive in one if our country runs. Stock is ok. Hr to me is better. Dinan is next. I haven't drive has yet. V3. Yep it's really good.

Originally I had H&R springs...switched them out for KW and couldn't be happier. The ride and handling has improved so much !!
I recommend this or the Dinan kit for anyone !
Both kits are adjustable. The Dinan kit is a little bit cheaper in price. Both perform amazing !
M6 is on KW kit
M5 is on Dinan kit

Does anyone else have any more feed back on these KW HAS? Especially vs HRs. I am gauging to see if it worth it to swap out my HR for these. Thanks!

The KW springs are better than H&R still you can feel the front bouncing a little bit,I just installed Longacre spring rubbers (red) to make the front more stiff but haven't tested the car..

I did kW v3 and Dinan sway bars. The handling is superior over stock now! Body roll and heavy weight feeling is gone now. Every day driving is super comfortable too. Great choice!

So u still use your factory shocks? Won't u end up blowing the seals on these eventually?

Yes you use your factory struts/shocks. Over time every suspension will break down due to wear and tear. The best and ultimate solution to upgrading suspension is always coilovers. However not everyone has funds to fork over a few thousand for them, or just want a lowered stance at a reasonable cost.

That is where these excel over lowering springs, this is a great option for those that do not like the rough ride produced from lowering springs and you can achieve a great lower stance to the vehicle without sacrifice.
