Where is your information from?
I work at a bmw dealership. and this is straight from BMW off of our January programs. 58% at 36 months 15k miles a year. Add 2% for 12k miles and add another 1% for 10k miles. So 61% at 10k miles a year 36 months.

A 39 month program makes more sense as your residual goes up another 1%, and BMW will presumably do another pullahead program in 3 years to waive those last 3+ payments.

Hope this helped
Doh! I ordered my M5 in December with the much worse residual rates. It has not arrived yet, but will be here soon.

Can my CA "switch" my lease to the current residual rates, or am I stuck with December?
Slightly better. They had the $2,000 incentive which is gone now. But assuming you were at 56% / 57% which is now 61% / 62%, you are probably better off with new program.

Can someone please give me an example of the type of deal I can expect in the US on a new M5 with competition pack. What sort of deposit am I looking at and what would the monthly be?

Thanks

Yeah my dealer told me the same, its just awesome. I got my M5 when it was at 59% this was in 2013 December, which was a great deal at the time. But what is it for an M6 currently?

Oh wow that's not that great, Thought I could work a deal at a dealer to get a similar payment as my m5 does not look like it.

noo. the 6's have always had weak residuals.

plus the m6's are a good deal more expensive than the m5, so itll be hard to get a similar payment

Yeah thank makes sense. I appreciate the input and info. I was offered a 2015 M6 Gran coupe MSRP was $132k for 36 months with $1500 down 10k miles a year for $1600 I almost took it.

Oh wow that's a lot, but then again for a 140k car basically that's an awesome payment. Is the wheel and tire protection worth it? Because I can get the tires for the same price as the $1600 you have to pay for that protection

You can get the 2014 model with the same or more MSRP for 200-300 less...
Check this out:

I was there the other day talking to my CA and I know they are going to get rid of it...

61% residual sounds amazing trying to get out of my 13 now that I leased at 49%.

My 2015 competition m5 had a msrp for $119.5k. I got the price down to $109k and my 39 month lease with 10k miles a year is costing me $1,350 a month inclusive of tax etc. I thought that was a good deal. I did put $5k down but only $2,500 of that went to a cap reduction rest was prepay of first month payment and fees. My residual was 59-% I think and I did NoT get a loyalty credit on top even though I own a x5! Damnit. Did I not get a good deal after all? Why would residuals go up from 12/25/14 when I leased?

I get the wheel + Tire for less than that. If i just have to use it once it already pays itself off.

And i tend to always get flat tires for some reason, so i definitely think its worth it.

That's good to know. For me I can get the tires for like $1200 to $1400 new so I did not think paying over that is worth it. Plus I never ever hit my rims so I did not think it was worth it for me. But if someone was to hit my rims that's where it is worth it to me

M6-Coupe is right. You can get $20k-ish off remaining 2014 M6s, but BMW financial is no longer offering leases on the 2014s, if that's what you're interested in. But it's a good time to buy if that's your thing.

Are you sure about BMW Financial not offering leases on '14's?

I am in the process of dealing on a '14 leftover as I write.
