Will F10 M5 Axle Back fot on F12 M6?

Checking to see if my AWE touring axle back exhaust may fit on an F12 M6 I just picked up. Josh with AWE can't say for sure since they never did test fit so I am asking the forum if they have had success.

I really don't want to sell the exhaust but if it doesn't fit I may have to - or have an exhaust shop make it fit.

Not the AWE, but back when I was looking at competition mufflers, the m5 and m6 had a slightly different tip angulation. I suspect it won't fit "perfectly", but no reason to sell if you like the axle back. I'd get a good shop to tweak it if necessary.

Go have it looked it.

Both the mufflers are interchangeable Axel back. The full system on an M6 is slightly longer I think by 4"s over the M5.

I've done it already and know several others who have as well.

Now AWE may have different bends but nothing an exhaust shop can't fix.

Thanks y'all.

I really think a shop should be able to make it fit - and I really love the sound of them as well.

I think the eisenmann sport and race axle backs have the same part numbers for m5 and m6 (B 5426 R-2).

So there's that...

Edit: I don't remember where I saw this, but make sure to verify with IND-Distribution or whoever sells Eisenmann.
