Service Manual
Anyone have a service manual for the F10 M5? I'm about to order an M5, and after looking at the owners manual online, am horrified. I guess I'm about to enter a different world, a world of "the first four years of service are included". Poppycock. The owners manual doesn't list part numbers or capacities. In the section where it addresses oil, it says that changes should only be performed by the BMW dealer. Clearly, I'm I may be too much of a redneck to own this car... I don't trust dealer techs, never will. I've changed all of the oil in my family's vehicles for 35+ years, rebuilt engines, raced; in short, I know what I'm doing, and sure as heck will exercise greater care than any other person who does not own my car. How much is the service manual? Is it decent? Thanks.

We'll, I thought I'd found one; I was mistaken. The dealer says they don't sell service manuals. Certainly, one exists; the techs have to have one for guidance. Where would a person get one?
