I was discussing the N55 tune with my local AMS dealer. Yesterday (1/6/15) he told me that the S63 tune was "next in line to be released" and no ETA for the N55. Bad news for me but good news for you M5 owners!

talked with someone over there two weeks ago.. they said 3 months or so til a true software flash (remotely) within the next 1-2 months you still have to send in the ECU
