I doubt anyone did honestly, but you're right standard brakes aren't all that amazing

I would try to upgrade your lines( challenge ), fluid catsrol (SRF 1.5 qts for full flush), and pads ?? Some guys have tested sport pads but don't know the make.

Seems like a waste of money to retrofit. Standard brakes are enough, although if you're experiencing fade then just switch out the pads and fluid, just as Spinny stated.

I retrofitted the ceramics. I did it for 3 reasons being no discernible brake dust, longevity and looks of the gold calipers.

Ceramics make no difference to stopping distance - that is exclusively down to the tyre grip level and ABS software setup.

Ceramics, because of their thermal absorption characteristics, do resist fade on repeated high speed stops better than steel, and so if you are braking 100 to 0 every 30 seconds then eventually ceramics will stop better than steels, but there is no way that is relevant anywhere other than an extended race track session.

I like them because of the lack of dust, but the installed price buys a lot of car washes.
