I have a brand new M6 steering wheel with the heated vibration capability, retrofittable onto the M5.

All you need to add is the controller for vibration/heating (61317848640) and an airbag (32307845796) for a complete, code-free, error-free retrofit.

$790 shipped OBO!

Tischer sells the M6 airbag for $880. The vibration/heating controller is optional and not required for the wheel/paddles/buttons to work. I suggest looking at getbmwparts.com to get a good idea.

Another $150 so it's $1820 for the parts plus install labor.

EDITED:

The better question is will I still need the vibration/heating module if my F10 non-M has the Heated option?
I suspect/hope that I can just bolt this in with an M airbag to my heated non-sport F10 535.
Can anyone confirm? I'm impulsive and want to capitalize on this.
