Change ambient lighting color
I've seen the thread for replacing the lighting with LED bulbs for the reading lights and when you open the door.
However, there are other lights in the door trim and overhead that glow a faint orange when the headlights are on. Is there a way to change those colors? With my black interior, I'm looking for a purple glow. I think Mini does have purple bulbs for similar lighting. Would they work? Thanks.

They're lit by LEDs that, for the overhead lights, are soldered on to the circuit boards. You'd have to remove them and replace them.
The doors might be easier. They're light tubes lit by a single LED.
