Heated door mirrors

Are the door mirrors heated? Now that it's getting colder, my door mirrors are frosted in the morning, after driving for 5 minutes with the front and rear defroster on the frost is still there. Please advise.

Yes the are heated. I'm pretty sure they are always on when the engine is running. Takes a few minutes to get going.

I think they are activated when the rear heated screen is on.

Haven't heard that before, but it might be right.

I pretty sure the are activated if the temp is belowe freezing and when you activate the wipers.

Hey guys, I noticed that the exterior mirrors don't seem to dim much or at all compared to the interior mirror when headlights are behind you.
The owner's manual says that they should dim automatically...
Anyone else notice this too?
Thanks

sorry bout the thread jack

oh and here is the manual info:

Automatic heating
Both exterior mirrors are automatically heated
whenever the engine is running.

Automatic dimming feature
Both exterior mirrors are automatically dimmed.
Photocells are used for control in the Interior
rear view mirror, refer to page 56.
