Yup, that is all Fitch ever does. He is just going to grind out all 3 rounds and win by decision.

And I don't think BJ is going to get much chance to keep it standing or even do much damage standing. Thiago Alves couldn't do it and he is a far better striker than BJ and has strong takedown defense as well.

Fitch will just keep knocking him down, sit in guard and do enough to get a decision. I don't see him submitting or TKOing BJ, but I don't see BJ submitting Fitch either (not if Fitch sits in his guard anyway).

The only way I see BJ winning is if he somehow manages to get his BJJ game going and can get Fitch out of his guard. Fitch is just too experienced to be caught with something in guard.

Yup, I'll be asleep after the first round because the 2nd and 3rd will be the exact same most likely. I'll wake up to everyone being pissed off when Fitch gets the decision.

i can very well see that happening, I'm hoping BJ comes out in a fury like he did against Hughes and KO Fitch, but its unlikely

Fight results seemed ho-hum, disappointing that BJ/Fitch went to a draw.

The 129 fight card looks promising, 2 title fights and a lot of other big names

Just watched the Bisping fight, what a prick. He did spit on Rivera's trainers at the end of the fight, even though he denied it.

BJ should have won that fight.....but he didn't because he couldnt finish when he had Fitch down...I mean c'mon!!!! He let Fitch spin out of rear guard not once but twice! Pfffft.....it should have been over there. I called the fight a draw before the results even came out but both fighters had the opportunity to end it and choked (pun definitely intended), BJ with the two rear mounts when he had ample opportunity for a choke hold and Fitch in the 3rd round (if his blows had more pop then maybe something would have been different..guess he needs more than 90grams of protein a day)....

Kinda disappointing night, I wanted Bisping to get KOed but that knee to the head completely turned that fight around, not sure if it was a smart move for Rivera to keep going, he def looked out of it. I dont care what anyone says, Bisping threw that knee on purpose, it wasnt even close

I thought Fitch stole the fight by the way he ended the 2nd and the way he dominated the 3rd, but I dont completely disagree w/ the decision. Although BJ should have finished the fight in the 1st, he had him but couldnt finish. Then gassed out and Fitch took over

I called the BJ v Fitch fight possibly being a draw as well but i was still shocked when i heard the result. I really thought BJ was about to choke Fitch when be had his back both times.

I'm also not a fan of Bisping and was frustrated to see him get away with that deliberate knee to the head which clearly changed the fight. Sometimes copping a 1 point penalty isnt enough. I felt like Bisping deliberately took that shot to soften up Rivera because before that he couldnt get the upper hand in the fight or any momentum. He knew so long as the fight continued he would win because nobody recovers after taking a blow like that. I had Bisping winning the fight before it even started now ive lost respect for him.

Also surprised Sotoropilous lost his fight, he struggled with the take downs and looked too small in comparison.

But we lost Phil "Mr Wonderful" Davis vs Hamil T_T....... We don't even have a replacement for that on the main card.......I wanted to see the neon pink LOL

As for Bisping, I really want to see what Dana will do for his punishment cuz those stunts he pulled was just bullshit all around.

UFC128 should be really good. Lots of nice fights there

Hamil vs Davis was axed a long time ago, Hamil was pulled out to fight Rampage and Davis was gonna fight Jason Brilz but then Davis was pulled out of that to replace an injured Tito.

so now Davis will fight Nogueira March 26th on spike, think this is a better fight than Hamil

I had Kampmann winning too at LEAST by split decision. I think Diego won in the judges eyes mainly because he kept coming forward in most of the fight even though it appeared he was swinging blindly lol. Great fight to watch though.

I guess punch stats and defending takedowns doesn't mean anything to the judges. All you need is a flurry or two and a takedown to win fights. What a sham.

What's fucked is Diego only took him down once, and only had him down for a short time without delivering hardly any damage at all. Takedowns should hold less weight in relation to the outcome of a fight if no damage is inflicted.

Also, I agree with Rogan as far as changing the rule on kneeing a "downed" opponent. Too many guys just plant a hand to avoid getting kneed due to that stupid rule. Now, if your knees are down, that's another story, but making a three-point base to avoid it is absurd.

I honestly don't think defending takedowns should really count for points. Forrest Griffin agrees
