Mobil 1 long in the tooth.

Mobil 1 0-40 LL01 no longer approved by Bm in UK.Looking at it in Costco the writing is no longer there.

Just Go with castrol 0w30 titanium LL04. Changed mine today and used that again.

From what I heard, they didn't pay for the BMW LL01 certification like in the past, but their formulation has not changed.

I would take that a step further and say the reason why is in Europe they like the LL04 spec now.

Mob1 0-40 still ok for wife's Merc with 229.5 and 229.3 spec,for Porsche and VW also.
