Carbon center trim Question!

So recently got this piece from Autotecknic, and before taking it to a shop or BMW was wondering if anyone has tried to install this before?

just pop off the factory trim and pop this one on, dont pay a shop. Use a flat trim tool and boom

You are right, it's not a 1:1 copy of the original trim, the cutouts don't match at all! Good catch 👊

I was wondering the same, but I just don't see the cutout circled in red? Am I missing a button on my M5 possibly?

Just checked mine. The one in the pic is def for LHD and the V should fit over any blank switches.

I have installed this before, and it is an exact match BUT BEWARE ********** i completely messed mine up because there are two screws INSIDE the actual module of the buttons that you need to take off, I messed my shift aggresiveness button up because of that, other than that yes it is an exact fit.

What you are seeing is the cutouts for the module to sit on top, it is hard to explain but those holes you see as well as the small ones are for the tiny screws that you need to transfer over, if you need more help DM me on instagram @fstm5c
