CP sways and springs
Need quick advice. Are CP sways and springs compatible with my 2013 M5. Meaning will they fit and will BMW not consider them an aftermarket part voiding warranty. I'm scheduled to go in tomorrow morning for Dinan sways and coil overs but am getting cold feet based on the potential warranty problems in the future. Especially now that many BMW dealers are not Dinan friendly. Advice needed! Thanks everyone.

I don't get this. If you are having this installed by a BMW dealer that is a Dinan dealer as well, they should be friendly. My understanding is that the Dinan sway bars and springs are superior to what you get on the competition package.

My understanding is the competition will work on the 2013 M5. Remember, the only part of the warranty it can void is if it is directly related to the suspension. Not the engine, for example. And this is where the Dinan warranty takes over. Which is more than what you get with say KW (which is no warranty). Then again, with KW you pay less. My thought is you will be fine and I would stay with the Dinan.

I'm having it installed at the Dinan shop in mountain view, however it's not a BMW dealer. There are no BMW dealers that are Dinan dealers in Bay Area unfortunately.
