I'm down too, but would want to pony up for the 2 day school. I've heard that the second day is far more exciting.

I am passing on the "compensation" of the M School from BMW NA. Although it was a nice gesture doesnt seem like much compensation when I have to pay out of pocket for airfare and hotel. Cut me a check for the value of the M School. That means more to me then having to pay $500-$700 to attend a "compensation" for my M5 issues.

Sorry to complain. Just my $.02

We did something like this for the launch of the M5 in Spain last Oct. It was a blast. I am definitely looking to do the 2-day school if possible though...

I did the M school when it used to come with the E60 M5's. It's ok. I much rather just do a local track day. There are so many good tracks in CA especially for us guys in NorCal with infineon, thunderhill and Laguna Seca. You will get a lot more track time with the likes of Hooked on Driving and others and they have quality instruction.

I got cash instead of the voucher so it was a non-issue. I told them at the time I had booked the 2 day (although I had not gotten round to it) and they gave me a check instead.

Did the one-day M School; it was a blast and convinced me to buy the M5. I'm ready for the two-day experience! Count me in!

Ok who wants to step up and propose a date? I would suggest in late feb or march for weather reasons and time to plan.

Agree, let's lock in Saturday, March 2. I'm in the southeast that date already for business.

Hmmm. I'm likely to do that. Is the one day on March 2 extended to March 3 for the two day?

Edit--Never mind, March 24 looks like the next open date.

It's on...2 day for me. I am good with March 24. Since it rained there for my 1day, and in Spain, I'd really like a dry track day

I went to the 2-Day M performance school last month and would have regretted it if I had only done the 1-Day. You get to do more the second day which reinforces/enhances the skills you have learned the first day. I especially liked the track and the competition we all had to go through. We got to do things that I probably will not do on purpose with my M5 but would know how to do them in case the occasion arises. I believe I will now feel more comfortable if my M5 does a side slip or a "pirouette" in snowy conditions as I know how to do them intentionally and deal with them.
