It's one of those colours you really need to see in person. Photographs just don't capture it. I took a massive leap of faith going off the dealers small sample swatch, to be honest I sweated for 2 months. But so so glad I did.

Re the splitters, I know, I've test fitted them, but I just don't know if she needs it. The front is clean as it is. I might hold off for a while and re look at it again, but that could All change by the morning lol.
I'm putting kw3's on mine in the next few weeks and taking my h&r's off, mainly cause I'm a child and still a boy racer lol. If you don't fancy putting them on in the morning then give me a shout as I might buy them if your going to sell them mate

Yeah, not sure what to say given your comments about black wheels and trim. I may regret my choice of car and wheel color, but I'll see. I think the diffuser looks great and that these splitters would too. Nicely changes the look of the front. Congrats on the new car, it's a nice color for the M5. I saw one at my dealership and the Sakhir color in person is definitely better than most pictures.

Oh this is not easy!

Right, here my thinking. The front is clean and doesn't jump out and screem at you other the the wide intakes and of course the M5 badge.

Add the splitters, does that make me more of a boy racer (no offence guys, just wish I was that age again), oh im 52, don't ask re the SO & SO, mid life crisis and loving it lol.

So far me, don't know,
Her in doors, nope.
My 21 yr old, of course dad.

Still pondering!

Not because I want to buy them but if your keeping it standard suspension , 19'etc I wouldn't put them on. I am still a boy racer (all be it 37 lol) and if you put them on it would for me always look like an unfinished project but I suppose that just my opinion

In my opinion unless you slam it and put on 21-22" wheels it's hard to turn this car into what you want to steer clear of. To me, I think breaking up the lines of the front with CF splitters looks great.

Decision made. It's a no. Well for now anyway. Temptation to fit also gone as bigFra dropped by and took them away for fitting to his.

Loving the look and ride of the 19's but ouch cleaning them is really another matter....

Absolutely love it and think that the 19's work well with Sakhir. The carbon diffuser looks great to me - I'd leave as is.

How much is the M performance pedal set as I have thought about ordering the same.

Thanks. My dealer is struggling to find the right OEM pedal set parts, or more specifically the footrest - I've given him some part numbers to work with (they must hate it when customers do this) but he still has to have it verified by BMW themselves. I'll have them fitted when the car has its running in service next week.

I had these on a previous X3 of all cars, and really liked them - I actually assumed they were standard on the M5!

Hope you're enjoying your car...

I tried that, for some reason they cannot supply the footrest for RHD.

However, the LHD one can be used, it is about 10mm wider top to bottom, so when fitted it would extend the current footrest out by a mere 10mm. It works well. One thing though, you need to raise it to the level of your floor mat, thus allowing your mat to slip under the side of it as the mats are made a tight fit for the standard footrest. It might sound weird but once its on and the mat is back in you cannot tell the difference.

Glad you got it to work but it's ridiculous BMW can't / won't supply a RHD part! I'll tell my dealer not to bother for now.
