Anyone tried removing the badge plinth from the LCI front grills (the plinth is a slightly matt plastic, the grill bars gloss, but it looks like there are there are recesses on the grill bars)?

The badge feels like it would detach from the plinth, but that would look awful.

Any luck getting the part number yet? Some old lady hit my bumper and cracked my grill. So I'm curious to see if the 2014 grill will fit my 2013.

These are the part numbers for the LCI grill w/o night vision. But for some reason my dealer says that BMW has told them that it would not fit the Pre-LCI. I find this hard to believe though. I'm also confused whether to order them or not!

u can get order them in black (m performance)

51 13 8 057 224 LCI front right grill
51 13 8 057 223 LCI front left grill (with no night vision)
51 13 8 057 229 LCI front left grill (with night vision)
You would need to separately order the M5 logo badge if you want that
51 13 8 059 945 LCI M5 logo for LCI grill

The black grilles are:
51 71 2 352 807 M Performance LCI left (with no night vision)
51 71 2 352 808 M Performance LCI right (with no night vision)

next level they will tell you that akrapovich exhaust doesnt fit LCI model, only M performance exhaust will fit
