Didnt know if any of you guys would be interested but the meet will be held in the best buy parking lot tonight 12/13/13
8923 Bay Pkwy
Brooklyn NY 11214

Seems like the owner of the lot and the 62nd precinct are also on board so its not one of those "run from the cops" kiddie meets. Im going and my boy with the M6 Gran coupe is also coming. Starts at 9pm, moment of silence at 11pm...heres the link:

I went to the one last week here in MD. I didn't stay for long. It was a kiddie meet. I was the only F10 M5, and there was one e39 M5. I dont think many people new what I was driving.. I just kept in the shadows. Maybe like 9 M3s I spotted, probably like 50 GTRs. I think over 2000 people attended maybe more. Everyone was young, hundreds of civics and ricer cars, pickups, etc.. The shop that was hosting it were even offering a $60 dyno, with 3 pulls, but it wasnt really worth it doing a dyno then.

As tragic as this was, I have some trouble celebrating the memory of someone who died as a result of this kind of wanton recklessness. Thank god these two didn't take anyone else with them! I imagine public reaction would be a bit different if a young mother walking with her kids had been taken out during the accident. The only thing between that and what happened is luck.

You must be thinking of scenes from the movie FF Actually the one in MD was sponsored by a tuner here. There were no races, just hard to find parking. All money from the dyno and other prizes given to one of the charities Paul Walker started. I cant say much of what happened after I left, but I didnt hear of anything crazy happening.

I was there parked my m5 at the mcdonalds because we couldn't get down to the actual meet.. I left after 40 minutes.

I am sure that CGT disintegrated and burst into flames as a result of an accident occurring at the speed limit and no reckless driving anything like the scenes in his movies.

There was an interview with PW a few years back after the first F&F and he was asked what his dream car was.. He said it was the CGT.

The meet was ok. Very few high end cars out there though. My M5 and a couple of my friends with a 997 Turbo cab, Dodge viper SRT10 and AW M6 Gran Coupe. There were also a few GTRs but the majority was the ricer kids. The precinct was involved so it was pretty peaceful.

BTW that video is very chilling......his dream car which is also mine, is the one that ended up killing him.

Spotted your car at the meet too, car looked sick standing next to your boys GC. I was in a 550i with my girl.

I was in a Carbon Black 550, I woulda said wuttup but there was no one by the cars when I took that pic. I'm sure we'll run into each other soon.

We were probably walking around checking out the other cars! I will be coming to your shop to get that hideaway front plate installed so i guess ill see u then
