Isn't that just for added downforce during high speed driving??

Surprised the owner didn't just hit the wipers to brush that dubris off??

Is that mod going to void his warrenty???

I'm curious if the car automatically called BMW Assist when this happened????

The sad thing is the insurance companies will investigate as to whether the tree was alive or dead when it fell. Live tree=act of God. Dead tree=negligence on the part of whoever's property it was on. Most policies have an act of God clause that excludes them from covering damage. Our neighbor in MS had a dead tree fall on the corner of their house and then onto the car in the driveway. Said tree belonged to the homeowner next door who had been asked to remove it several times. He ended up being liable for all the damages. Here's hoping it works out in the M Tree owner's favor.

I hope the owner wasn't inside. That might be a parked M5 (kinda parked far from a curb).
