Cant decide on rear spoiler???

Everyone with custom spoilers, is the spoiler flush on the back side of the trunk closest to the rear window? No gap whatsoever? The OEM is flush on both sides. I just installed a CF and its flush on the back of the trunk but on the rear window side there is a very small gap. I'm assuming due to the 3M tape which isn't thick but doesnt sit entirely flush on the trunk.

Any help is appreciated. It doesn't bother me much as it looks normal but just curious if it's truly normal or should it be flush.
