Sounds great. Besides, who knows if it will sound different the next video. Definitely reminds me of an Aston Martin. Are they still labeling this as the 911 fighter? It sure better be light weight.

I think most of you are complaining about the m4's sound because the m4's sound is really overpowering the m8's sound in this video. I usually complain about how the new m cars sound weak when compared to competition but the first time in a while i've been impressed with a new m models exhaust note. The m8 actually sounds like a v8 with its own distinctive character but i may be overthinking things since this video can be very deceiving

Sounds like an AMG.

Was hoping for a tuned and modified S85 motor that revs to 9000 rpm.

You have any sound clips? I absolutely love the M6 as a vehicle. It's incredibly sexy!
Yes I do, check out my Instagram dinanm6_ I have a ton of clips of the sound and will be uploading some new ones of the intake whoosh!

Beyond the overrun barble — which I'm not a huge fan of —*the engine note is light years beyond the M6 and X5 M.

I agree.

I think it sounds more intense than the M760Li as well.

P.S.
In order to keep up with Audi and MB in the exhaust sound department, BMW just had to pump up the intensity on this model.
