What age group generally owns an M5 ??

38, this is the 3rd M5 i've had, and it's my dedicated daycare dropoff car for my 3 year old twins every morning, with no mufflers.

Haha i like to drop the kids off at school at least once a week in the M5 (no mufflers as well). They love it. And it makes them feel cool. Last week there was a guy behind us on a motorcycle taking pics of the car while he was riding and the kids started to understand that the M5 is a really special car.

although many say it isnt a youngs man car.

its the more complete package u can get

It really is the complete package. I would say the number 1 thing the M5 has over any other sports car or similar sports sedan in its segment is the level of refinement. The F80 M3 is big step down in terms of refinement but has a very very nice sporty feel to it. The RS7 comes close to M5's refinement, but you have to pay a lot extra for it, $3,000 dollars just for an Alcantara Headliner, it does not come standard. But you can't option a full leather dash on the RS7 though, even an F80 M3 has that option. The E63 and Jaguar XFR-S, and CTS-V don't even come close to the refinement of the M5 either. The M6 Gran Coupe feels even more luxurious than the M5 with the leather headliner you can get too.
