Hanging from undercarriage
It seems like there is a round metal piece hanging from the undercarriage of the M5?
Any ideas on what this might be? I'll have pics by tomorrow...I know this is kinda pointless without the pics.

Is it perhaps the cooling for the diff? they look like fins and usually stick out from the back.. If that is it, then its totally normal.

Seen from the rear of the M5? Just a underbody component shield.. and plays a maybe small role in aero dynamics. Behind it is the exhaust. There is also the rear M diff that is box like with fins.
