Hey guys looking to buy these wheels from a member. Waiting to get exact specs, but in the meantime do they look like they will fit on my M5?

Yeah me too bud. They are 21x9.5 and 21x11.5. Waiting to hear back from DPE on offsets to confirm.

Pretty much the answer will be no. The M6 stock offset is 19mm and M5 is 34mm. I've seen a few people running the M6 rears on the back of an M5 and they have very aggressive fitment. Those wheels fill out the guard more than stock M6 wheels so I really doubt they will work.

^^^ This. I’m running M6 wheels on my M5 and the fronts are better but slightly tucked, the rears are flush and perfect to me anyway. Meaning the ones your looking at will have a more aggressive fitment on a M6. Put them on a M5 and they will be out further. I’m pretty sure it’s a no-go.

Here is the reply I just received from DPE:

+26 front and rear. It will be slightly aggressive but can work with stretched tires. F10 M5 run 11 +31 so 11.5 at +26 is doable albeit with stretched tires. Good luck!

You guys tell me. If the seller wasn't 3 hours away I would drive there and try them on but was hoping to get better clarification first because I don't want to hold him up if he has another buyer lined up and he's just waiting on me.

With 295 rears you'll be just ok but the tyres will look quite stretched - I'm guessing he had 305s on them?

I would take a pass or make the drive and try them on your car and make sure you’re happy w/ fitment. Too aggressive for M5 IMO but that’s subjective.

I agree bud, if he was closer I absolutely would make the drive. But the more I think about it the less I think I'll be happy in the end w the look. I am very particular about my cars and mods I make.

Thanks everyone for all of the help and advice, greatly appreciated! Also big shout out to DPE wheels, Jerry there has been emailing me back and forth researching on his off time to get me the answers from when these wheels were originally built. Great customer service and they had nothing to gain, but yet took the time to help me out! Great company!!!!

Thanks again guys.... the search continues

Also, the tires for 21s are already fairly thin at the side wall (295). Stretch them further and you will not have much rubber for any holes in the road. Too stressing driving around like that. Your eyes will constantly be looking for pot holes. No thanks.

Plenty of M5's on here running 21" wheel set-ups that look sick! Certainly the look and aesthetics of 21's is subjective and based on individual preferences.

I think many on here will disagree with your assessment that 21's suck but thanks for the insightful contribution.

Not sure if you picked these up, but 21x11 ET 26 is probably as flush as you want to be. Adding half an inch to the wheel width means you should add 6mm to the offset so it doesn't stick out further than the fenders. 11.5 should be ET 31/32 to be flush. I've got pics of botch wheel set ups as I purchased a set of HREs from my buddy's M6 and thought they'd fit...rears poke by 7-8mm. PM me if you want the pics I can send via text.

Hey bud, I was hoping you were going to reply. I have seen some of your posts in wheels in the past and you obviously know what you are talking about. I ended up passing on the wheels, I bought Kimo's (M5 guy) Velos wheels instead. Hopefully this information in here helps someone out in the future. Thanks again All!

Those wheels are going to look great on BSM. Post some pix when mounted.

Hey bud, I definitely will post up pics. Sucks my cars away for the winter now that the roads have been salted for this past storm. Thanks again for all the help!
