Window tint

Anyone have any issues with window tint? Everyone have perfect jobs done? Specifically, the posterior upper corner of front windows which have a rounded frame in the door?

I have had my tint applied and removed twice now due to less than perfect results. Frustrating.

Am I the only one with issues!?

Mine was done perfectly all the way round. Sleek motoring in Mountainview.

What films did you go with. I tried crystalline. Fickle.

Looking for a good alternative.

Huper Optik is awesome. STM in Los Angeles is the best installer.

There are plenty of people who have crystalline on a 5 series with no issues. Seems to me to be an installer issue.

Are they handcutting the film, or computer cutting with expanded edges, and then shaving to size?

I'm not sure. Trying a new installer and perhaps a new film.

Llumar CTX 40 for me, computer cut w/expanded edge and shaved. No issues.
