Deezer Elite

Deezer finally is fully launched in the US market. Some guys on this board were already using it via VPN. I was compromising with Rhapsody until Deezer launched in the US.

The product is superb. In back to back listening there is a noticeable improvement in sound quality and detail relative to Rhapsody.

I think the playlists and searchability is better than Rhapsody and way better than MOG.

The BMW Apps integration is excellent.

And another plus: Deezer Elite is available on Sonos in an uncompressed format. The sound quality when played through my definitive technology and martin logan reference speakers is really superb. I am sure those of you with B&W speakers would be even more delighted. We were dancing to some tracks played from Deezer Elite via the Sonos Connect and it was euphoric.

Interesting. Is Deezer similar to Spotify? If yes, I'll check it out!

I use Spotify for music streaming through our home Sonos mesh network, streaming and/or downloaded on mobile devices, and streaming blue tooth audio in the M3. It's very good. With that said, I'm always interested in new audio and media technologies. Thanks for sharing. :-)

I've been using Google Play All Access. It offers up to 320Kbps. I've been mostly pleased with the product and quality. Obviously, Deezer Elite is at another level of quality. My primary concern is data usage when driving - isn't Deezer elite near 1411Kbps? My current wireless provider doesn't provide unlimited data. With Google, I will download an album, etc for offline access, if I know in advance what I'd like to listen to on a trip (just a way to reduce data).

You don't. You download it to the phone from the Apple App Store. The car can access it through Connected Drive.

Seems like people are unable to sign up unless they have Sonos for now...
