The F10 M5 is the most incredible, captivating car I have ever driven.

I've been going back and forth about whether to get a new F80 M3 or a CPO F10 M5 for a while now and after taking a '13 M5 home for the night and driving it for a few hours can honestly say it is hands down the best driving experience I have ever had. I've driven all of the M's, most of the current Porsche's with the exception of the 911, the *63 (C/E) AMGs, Stingray, Jaguar F-Type, etc.

There is nothing like a F10 M5. Nothing even comes close. The interior, the driving experience, attention to detail, acceleration, cornering. I'm speechless!

Just thought I'd drop by to share.

It's a DCT. Haven't bought it yet, but will be buying it Monday afternoon as long as it checks out during my pre-purchase inspection Monday morning. Dealership let me take it home for the night to show the wife. Drove it around a bit. Absolutely incredible.

I can think of a few Ferraris I've driven that might have been a pinch of a better experience but M5 is hard to beat for a 4 door grocery grabber. Congrats and post some pics!

Looks like it was a BMW Individual.

I've got this picture from earlier this evening.

What's amazing is they're going to give it to me for less than KBB value. Insane.

Honestly, even if I could afford something more exotic, it wouldn't fly with the Mrs. They're only going to be marginally better, anyway. For the money, you can't beat everything the M5 brings to the table.

Indeed. If I can only recommend one mod, I would say that you need to upgrade the sway bars on the 2013. They will transform the car into a corning machine. Either the Comp Pack sway bars or the Dinan Sway Bars will do. Trust me, you will love the driving experience that much more.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll price it out and see about getting them on there.

What's interesting most high end luxury cars are just darn hard to move across the board. Just saw a loaded M6 vert 2015 for 89k MSRP was 127k, and it has 5k miles on it. The M6 GC's taking the same beating. I sold my 2013 over the summer with 14k miles on it. Looking at the values drop it would have taken a 10k hit in 2016, but I was very happy with the car for three years.

Audi RS7's are taking the same beating sitting on lots with less than 10k on them for 25k of the MSRP. Good time to hit the use cars market on the high performance luxury cars. My dealer said the market is very slow for a used car above 60k, and the once you get on that 100k range most buyers buy new until they get bored hence the glut in the market. Trying to get the wife to like the RS7 it's loaded for 92k, not sure she will bite because she knows I will drive it more than her.

I can think of a few cars that are more engaging to drive at an affordable price point.

grats , i just bought one 2013 with dinan mods with 3500 miles without even driving or seeing in person lol. i just knew what m cars are from previous m3s and now have kids so i cant have smaller cars for the family, and i was truly in love with it when it arrived. been driving it every day even if i dont have anywhere to go lol. its an awesome machine for daily driving or spirited cruising. its not the best performance for the dollar but thats not what i was looking for i already have the best performance for dollar, i wanted something with more luxury to carry my family around on. you will love it. enjoy

I agree with your assessment. That's why its better to just lease brand new if you can afford the payments, or own the car since new and wait until the price drops below that $60k threshold you are talking about, if you want to sell.

Yup, I just prefer to bite the bullet and buy because of my travel I basically drive my cars on the weekend. Job in NY, and cars parked in ATL oh I have my fun Escalade here not! I try to buy cars that I like and will keep ......my M5 I did ok when I sold vs. what I paid for it because I got a killer deal in 2012 believe it or not. Got offered a RS for 75k over 202k sell price ......I said nope call me at MSRP! I see the glut coming by June as the economy gets economic woes continue. The M4 I will sell in three years that the max for BMW's for me, or if the price is horrible I will keep it and park it it's paid which takes the sting away.

Could you share those links with the listing? Ive been trying to get into a Monte Carlo Blue M5 but they seem to be priced with a premium compare to the other colors.
