TPMS

For any of you that swapped wheels and tires, did you buy new TPMS?
How hard was the programming and what is involved?
Where did you buy the tpms from?
Thanks

Nothing to it. Any vendor should be able to sell you tpms compatible with our systems. No programming involved - just have it on the car and the wheel/tire combo "talks" to the cars computer.

Both. It's super easy. Nothing to it.

I purchased new TPMS's through tirerack for $50 each which is cheaper than what BMW sells them for. Plus they are OEM.

FYI - I don't think they actually sell them online so you have to give them a call

I just learned that Canadian M5's don't come with TPMS sensors which is gay. They use the ABS sensor to monitor tire pressure?!? I am going to go out on a limb and say I will have to add actual TPMS before I can code for actual tire pressures?
