That blue Sub is very Very nice. One of the prettiest watches.

I told my jeweler I was thinking about the Grande Reverso Duo, he said he'd keep an eye out. He called me, and had a gold Grand Taille duo, 8-10 years old, for a very good price. I checked it out, very nice, but much too small for my taste.

I still have yet to see the Squadra, but I think the Grande Reverso Duo (like The One's) is still going to be the model I get, if I get one. Beautifal watch though.

@X-M3driver, LOVE the Blue sub with yellow gold. Contrasts well. In all honesty, I can barely tell the difference between the white gold blue and the stainless one (obviously other than the blue bezel and face... but anyone who didn't know watches would probably just suspect it was steel)
One of the nicest watches Rolex offers.
Thanks for sharing the pic!

My Submariner is causing a dry spot/rash where the crown contacts my wrist. As much as I love my Sub, I might consider trading across for something that maybe fits me better.
The jewelry shop I bought my Sub from sold me the watch as having papers, unsigned cards, and no box, but he can't find the papers, and has offered me my money back, or generous trade across for anything that comes along that might tickle my fancy.
I'm saving for another watch anyways, so I have some options.

Thanks Reed. It's working great. I love the watch... it's really the only watch I've spent more than $300 on, so it's hard for me to compare to other nice watches, but so far so good. It's big, but not flashy because of the brushed metal finish.

Really want an IWC Portuguese but not comfortable spending 18K on a watch, considering I invariably wear them all the time and scratch the hell out of them. Speedy needs a polish for this reason.
WORD! Just got my Seamaster Planet Ocean 2200.50 as a wedding gift from the in-laws!!! It's a huge upgrade for me. My last ones were Seiko and Nixon.

Ya, I didn't take into account that since it's a chrono there is no sweeping second hand unless you keep the chrono running all the time, but I think I'll grow to like it.

it can be an adjustment. Interestingly, most of my watches are chronos so I don't really notice it. But they all do have a subset dial with a small sweeping second hand. So I still get that feature.

Sweeping second hands have a tendancy to make watches thicker as the added gears add considerable bulk to a watch, so it can be a trade off.

The case is 13.2mm, pretty thick in my book, and I don't get any sweeping second hands
