There are modified turbos out there for the F10 M5...but the problem is that no one right now has the proven ability to make the necessary adjustments on the tuning side. You can slap the turbos on but you will not see the full benefit of the modification. You may even lose low end power if the larger compressor wheels take longer to spool without electronically adjusting the wastegates.

Theres a company who can remap your M5 by obd.... still a long way to adjust the remap. Will the DKG or the engine can handle 800 hp. that would be really a monster .

I think its more the DCT... I've yet to seen one take over 700s crank. Even Dinan mentioned the DCT toping out around there so who knows, I really wish these ecus were as easy as the N54 so we could really see what true potential we were given by BMW

Yeah these M5 DCTs are ALOT stronger than the M3s. They handle ~700tq crank without ANY issue. My supercharged m3 with 400wtq DCT didn't always feel right. Actually have yet to drive a supercharged M3 DCT that does. I would imagine these things can handle ~800+wtq.

PP performance doesnt have a full tune. They offer a piggyback just like everyone else.
FYI, you can't have a full tune with a built in piggyback.

Vargas is working on some turbos....

Terry's M5 dynoed @ 678whp with methanol injection and dps...Using the argued and much debated 15% rule for shits and giggles that's.....797hp and with 2500$ in modifications....$500 tune, $1500 dps, $500 meth...

The W212 E63 Biturbo Renntech tune alone is $3,500 for 669hp

How many comparable cars can get you to 800hp with $2,500 in modifications?

Thats honestly comparable and I trust the renntech tune more than trick boosting the TMAP sensors and running Meth spray into the engine... And I'm one who has had 10+k trouble free miles with the BMS and trust them completely.

Vargas still isn't shipping 335i turbos so I'll believe them when I see it

I will make one, but it is tough to do. I can easily show you a picture of the car doing over 155mph, but I also had the 189mph limiter. This is more difficult to film, and there is a speed limit here.

Thats not hard to do for us state side either due to the car taking a long duration of continuous speed before it self corrects to 155...

Glad you've had a great experience so far with BMS, I too have had great experiences with their tunes and parts.

Do you plan to switch over to a flash tune? I've read that there are a few out on the market now...

I'm dumping the car soon working on GTR + m4... its just not really for someone in their 20s especially with such few tuning options, but if something worthwhile came out soon or their was a major break I like it enough to hang onto it.

I think the DCT is more like an 11% loss.
