I've got one for sale right now, pretty similar to yours, and I think we could get mid to upper 20's solely because of the warranty. Mine is space grey, 67k miles, smg, and car max extended care warranty.

Was there no maintenance between 28k miles and 56k miles? That's 6 years in between.

That's a good question and honestly I don't know. I purchased the car used from a dealer so there aren't any records from the prior owner. The information reflected was pulled from the data sheet from the local BMW dealer. However, judging by the overall mechanical condition of the car and the fact that an M5 cannot be neglected for 6 years, I would say that proper maintenance was done.
