Can you answer a few questions for me?
- do you have a clearbra? If so how does it look?
- any issues with scratches?
- how often do you wash it?
- would you choose this finish again?
U prob ask the wrong person. I will not be objective

- I don't have a clear bra
- No issue with scratches. The finish deals with it better than glossy finish
- My cars are washed either once a week or once every 2 weeks. It rains quite a lot here and FG is the only color that still manages to look respectable even when filthy
- I am planning to change to the LCI M5 with comp package if the test drive delivers. U know, i am not particular about colors. It can be in any color so long as it's frozen gray!

Bear in mind I live in Miami so lots of rain, but no snow or hail.
Had the last Frozen Grey E60 M5, it never looked (to me anyway) finished!
I personally could not get on with the colour.
Maybe because I bought it in December and the winter was pretty bad it did not help.
Some panels on the doors in particular looked a shade different.
It was not my choice of colours, the car came in at a bargain price, it went out as quick as it came in TBH.
You may get on with it better, and the way the paint is now applied could have improve greatly, remember that was probably one of the first `"attempts".

The climate in Singapore and Miami are very similar.

No way. Miami is so much nicer. I was there a few years back for a cruise for my honeymoon. The weather was glorious, much like California

Frozen gray will hold up very nicely over there! You should get that clear bra installed when the time comes. I am too lazy to do it. Was about to get around doing it when the LCI came along. I will prob install it on the LCI if I get it.

Here are some super close up and fairly close ups. Sorry for the poor quality the lighting in my garage is horrible. The 'V' on the bumper by the headlight is an inflection point. That's where the bra has a hard time adhering due to body contours. I think a great installer could overcome these areas. The corner on the hood is how a laser cut kit comes, if your installer goes full blown freestyle you could have that seam gone as well. You will know where all the little lines are but no one else will. Eventually you won't notice either. It blends in pretty good IMO...

Thanks Kyle. I wasn't worried about the seams. in fact my installer is a master at wrapping the edges.

The issue was more about whether there is any difference in clarity, reflectivity and sheen?

Clarity means when you look at the metallic flakes do they look the same on the clearbra portion as the raw paint

Reflectivity means the level of matte

Sheen means the satin finish

Mmm, I think you may notice subtle differences if you are within a foot or two. Other than that, it blends as well as can be expected. I dont think I can attempt to capture major differences with my iPhone, not going to show up.

The most impt point is whether the car is parked under shelter or in the open. I would advise against frozen paint if it's usually parked in the open.

I've seen clar's car though and it's very well maintained, with little maintenance Frozen grey on the M5 looks great, the best color imo; and strangers have asked me about it.

I park indoors at home and at the office. But if I go out for lunch, I usually park outdoors at the restaurant.

Stealth if you like the colour just go for it.
You garage your cars like I do , and your parked at work under cover, so NO real exposure , I think with the right paint protection your good to go.

That car looks great just not my cup of tea.
PS) silverstone is just the dogs hanging tackle, I have it on mine.

Also, XPEL matte works perfectly on frozen paint. Just ask Marko (runninthingz)
Here is one that we did in the Satin Clear Bra on a Frozen Gray

Frozen colors on the f10 look great IMO. Some cars can't seem to pull it off but the f10m5 does nicely.

You haven't seen one. Believe me they are gorgeous. It's not matte. It's a silk finish. Big difference.

100% correct with the right color.... frozen silverstone M6GC at the Welt:

and 100% wrong with the wrong color.. frozen imperial blue (I think) on a 5-series Individual... cannot express how bad this car looked:

food for thought... seriously debating using Xpel stealth as my wrap when I get the car back stateside....that way I kill two birds with one stone... a mandatory protective film wrap and the ability to experience a "frozen" type look with no permanance.
