Anyone running 11.5" rear wheel

^ I find that hard to believe. I have 305/30's on my 20x11 and it's more stretched than that. So I don't know how that 20x12 doesn't even look stretched at all.

Regarding the X5 with 11.5 and 325's does that give you 10mm clearance on the inside, meaning that a 305/30 20 on a 11.5 et38 20 there would be 10mm or more clearance ?

Okay here's some more information

I now have 15mm rear spacers with stock 20inch rims I have zero issues with clearance although it looks tight. I drove back last night with the boot full of books and a full back and two passengers it looked 'bagged' as some would say but zero issues I'm about 12mm lower than CP ride heights unloaded. So et 19 on a 10 with 295 is fine (15mm spacer)

I carefully measured the tyre to damper tube clearance and the rim edge to damper clearance

There is 38mm between the tyre and damper tube I measured this very carefully sizing a round clearance measure as measurement of the curved tyre is tricky the inner wheel rim is some 9-10mm further away. Checking the outer rim with a flat edge across the wheel the tyre is 8mm further out than the rim. Interestingly the 265 on the front is only 4mm or so further out than the rim edge

I want to measure my tyre on rim actual width, according to Michelin it's 11.9" on a 10.5" rim. I am also aware that a 10" rim will measure 10" to the inner bead of the tyre so rim edge to rim edge some .8" or so wider. I will try to evaluate the offsets so that a 305 on an 11.5 rim sits on the outside as snug as the 295 on a 10" rim

Et 38 will move the rim to the same outer position as the 15mm spacer and increase the inside by 38mm so seemingly tight but it's the bulge that needs consideration. I think moving the 11.5 further out by say 3-4/5mm will fit the tyre close to where it is on a 10" rim and provide enough clearance on the inside

So possibly 11.5 et 32-35

315 on 11.5 is the same as 295 on 10j - so if you go 305, you should be able to push the rim out just a little more cos the tire will stretch a little more...

10j e19 = 11.5j et38

so yup, 11.5j et35 should be good

i would get et35 and use a spacer to push it out if you can...

Been doing a little more reading and thinking. Seems the inside clearance minimum is 5mm, so that's 5mm I need over an above fitting an et38 with the same tyre bulge (9mm)

I actually picked up this months 'Aston' and inside the new Vanquish S have 305/30 20 P zeros on 20 x 1.5 rims. Looking at side on shots the bulge looks minimal, less than the 4-5mm there is on a 265 on the 9" front of the M5 and obviously way less than the 9mm with a 295/30 on a 10" rim.

So I think if I was to use et35 then I would have an additional 3mm clearance plus the reduction in 'bulge' of at least 5mm I suspect. so 8mm inside ont he outside I would be 3mm firther out for the rim edge less the 5mm min reduced bulge so perhaps 2mm more tyre clearance. A number of people are running effective 18mm further out for the rim edge at the rear with wide 21's and some as much as 20, 21mm. I know of two cars with 18mm and three with 21mm
