Only front bumper is M5. Rear bumper, side skirts and mirrors and rims are yet to come. The M5 does not get wider fenders, as it never got wider fenders. Same goes for M6. Only M3 and M1 get wider fenders. Body-roll: remember the body-roll of the M1, and look how it drives now: now body roll at all. These rims would not be bad in 18" for M1. They are light and look agressive and good.

Few body panels have differed from a standard 5 series.
I would much rather have a CF roof than a garbage glass moon roof

I really think this may be my next car, but its looking really big. It looks like a 7 series from certain angles, and even though the M will obviously look GREAT. It still might be a bit too big

meh m5 is overrated. m3 is the king, m1 will be the king-in-training.

those wheels grew on me big time.. they just get better and better

not sure how well they'd look on an e90 tho...

anyway, this is going to be instantly great... the front should resemble x6m

Power with the V8 and two turbos will be the most attractive feature of the car.

actually the front fender on the M5 is slightly lifted on the front i did a comparison on the previous 5 and M5 on photoshop. the rear fenders stay the same but the bumper has alittle flare that make it look wider.

Here check them out, heres the front 5 series on top of the M5 you can see the slight difference.

Heres the rear.

Ok, fair enough - should be fall 2011 as an MY2012 I assume - but I guess my point is that the M5 is not going to get the M6 front end.

Isn't the new M5 supposed to have active aero? I don't really see where it could be integrated and actually make a difference.

neither is the rear bumper and skirts also. or those wheels. trust and believe BMW will make a more aggressive wheel than the previous M5. the point is to be better than the previous model not worse. and so far all those non production wheels we've seen on the mule dont compare to the old M5 wheel.

Just a wait now...

BMW finally took my deposit for the new car. They did not commit to a time or final value but the deposit is guaranteed to secure me the very first UK official car...

Roll on late 2011 / early 2012
